I experienced and observed the same as the previous two comment authors. …. Convicted child molesters have more access to their children than I do. Unsupported, inconsistent, and unchallenged false accusations by the mother outweighed undisputed facts, certified evidence, sworn statements, and testable/verifiable documentation. Judge Stovall inconsistently ruled on motions, laws, or rules to favor the mother. She ruled based on her false beliefs despite the invalidating evidence. For 3 years, I pleaded for a trial or in some way, to present a case. Despite 3 years, several hearings, several Rule 11's, hundreds of emails, letters, and conversations, Judge Stovall refused to compel the mother to provide discovery. Judge Stovall disregarded over 3 years and over 300, exhibited charges of Contempt of Court against the mother, and further never allowed me to respond to the false accusations. Repeatedly, my lawyers complained about Judge Stovall favoring the mother. The opposing lawyer deliberately lied to the court and filed false allegations. For over 1/2 of my daughter's life, she has been left in her mother’s violent and abusive home; a home with a convicted aggravated sexual assault felon, multiple sex partners, disease, criminals, drug abusers, frequent police visits and a raid, confiscated drug paraphernalia, (meth, cocaine, xanax, etc), multiple suspensions for drugs and violence at school (certified CISD records), burglar(s), vandals, wrist cutting, daily violence, destruction, fighting, screaming, profanity (in sworn depositions), pornography (including bestiality), adultery, boys sleeping over, men sleeping over, taking my daughter to sleep at men’s homes, and so much more. Even with the mother's sworn statements of medically abusing/neglecting my daughter and with the doctors corroborating records of her mistreatment, Judge Stovall took my daughter from me and placed her into her mother’s sole custody. Judge Stovall was provided copies of numerous testable, verifiable, certified evidence, disproving false accusations, and proving neglect and abuse by the mother, but still ruled in favor of the lying abusive mother. The mother continues to deliberately, medically mistreat my daughter's diagnosed medical condition(s), neglects her dental care, and the high risk lifestyles exposes my daughter to diseases. In the last 10 months I have seen my daughter less than 75 hours, and have been denied telephone access. My daughter has become angry, violent, defiant, and is a significant disciplinary problem at school. Judge Stovall punished me with greater than 20% child support, supervised visitation, and restricted phone access. The Final Decree was significantly different, even opposite on some points, to what had been read into the record. When she reads this, she will know exactly who I am and I hope she will right this injustice rather than further alienate me from my daughter. I will never, ever, ever give up trying to rescue my daughter. 2009-09-15

This judge has demonstrated repeatedly that she allows innuendo and unsubstantiated statements, both oral and written, to bias her judgment in deciding key issues in her cases. She applies personal opinion into her rulings placing parties to the cases at risk and causing further motions and actions in the litigation. She has demonstrated her bias toward women many times, especially in cases where that woman has claimed that she is at risk from her spouse, and often to the detriment to the family structure and to the relationship of the children to the accused spouse. This judge should demand that the attorneys before her court substantiate their allegations before deciding to rule on crucial issues that have long term harmful effects on families,the litigants, and the relationships between parents and their children. I, for one, will volunteer to work for her opponent's campaign when she is next challenged for her position. She has overstayed her welcome on the bench. 2009-02-17

This judge issued late rulings every time, without written rulings citing rationale and law. She was on her computer from the bench during testimony clearly not attending to witnesses not only once but each of the many times my case was in her courtroom. A young child's civil rights as well as her mother's were completely disregarded, as medical care for a diagnosed illness was never addressed, though continually brought to her attention. Court room theatrics were allowed from attorney for the defense, as well as unsupported allegations that were never proved or supported with any evidence, but which were validated by her ruling repeatedly. 2007-05-21
